Cornwells UMC Church

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with many responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow with us.

We are looking for people of all ages to join our worship team.  You may want to play an instrument, sing, dance, read or or have another unique talent, We would be blessed to have you participate.

The group is open to any young adult to senior aged adult.  The group meets after Church Service in the Chapel.  It is facilitated by our Lay Leader, Steve Myers, a retired teacher.  Each person is encouraged to participates in class voluntarily.   Bible lesson topics vary.  Classes may focus on a book, a DVD series, a book of the  bible, or some other media.  Interactions in this group tend to lead to longtime friendships.     

When children attend Sunday service we offer an opportunity for them to exit the service and participate in their own age appropriate Sunday school bible lesson. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The Children’s Junior School Program of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.

All men are invited to join together in the serving room the Second Saturday of each month at 8 am to share a meal, have a lesson and talk “guy stuff”.
